I grew up a step away from homelessness. I had 5 siblings, and education is what brought us out of poverty. So I had a vested interest in homeless kids and education.

She eventually decided to parlay this knowledge and expertise into providing support to other immigrants who wanted to make a different life for themselves.

Her advice about working from home is; never miss deadlines, have a workstation, turn your personal phone off, set up a routine, and take time for yourself in the morning before starting work.
